Empowering employees for a resilient future: EEI unveils cutting-edge training center for construction skills development
EEI Corp. is constructing a state-of-the-art training center to provide comprehensive construction-related sessions and skills training for its upcoming domestic and international projects.
The facility, designed to accommodate up to 500 trainees simultaneously, will offer a wide range of training activities, including various types of welding, electro-mechanical skills, light industries, building and infrastructure sessions, and managerial programs.
The training center, scheduled for completion in December 2024, will be located in Tanza, Cavite. It will feature a two-storey building for classroom sessions, specialized workshops for welding, rebar, carpentry, masonry, scaffolding, plumbing, painting, and structural mechanical piping electrical instrumentation (SMPEI).
It will include recreational facilities, an office building, barracks for trainees, and various structures to support training activities.
By evaluating operations, addressing weaknesses, upskilling the workforce, and strengthening stakeholder relations, EEI aims to build a solid foundation for a more inclusive future.
EEI has teamed up with Dual Tech, a reputable Technical Vocational Institution (TVI) with extensive industry experience, to incorporate a Values to Virtues (V2V) Workshop into its training modules.
The workshop, starting in July, will initially target EEI supervisors and managers and aims to foster values formation in the workplace.
