Bullish: Consunjis buy P288M shares as DMCI rockets to 2-year high

The Consunjis are building up their stake in DMCI Holdings (DMC) whose shares have been on the rampage over the last four weeks.

Three Consunji siblings and the family’s private firm, DFC Holdings, acquired a total of 34 million DMC shares worth P288 million.

DFC bought P253 million worth of DMC shares while director Jorge Consunji snapped up P17.5 million shares; and president and chairman Isidro Consunji and director Maria Cristina Consunji-Gotianun acquired P8.75 million each.

The Consunjis bought their shares at a price range of P8.72 to P8.75 on October 20 when DMC surged to its highest in two years.
